Your Itinerary

Day 1 - 2 - Vic Falls

Your dream journey starts at the mighty Vic Falls.

A private transfer will take you from Livingstone airport to Sindabezi Lodge.  Activities are visit to village, boat cruise, river picnic, visit to Victoria Falls Zambia side (park fees extra), game drive in Mosi Oa Tunya (park fees extra), gorge walk, visit to museum (entry fee extra) and you have a morning breezer at the Livingstone Island included.

2 nights at Sindabezi Lodge on a Fully Inclusive Basis

Day 3 - 4 - Central Kafue

Today you will have a flight to Kafue and Ila Safari Lodge. Here your activities are game drives, walks, fishing and boating, you can also visit the community school.

Kafue is a park the size of Wales or Vermont. Falling within the park’s protection are so many diverse environments, teeming with wildlife in the dry season and a mecca for predators.

Ila Safari Lodge is a true eco-lodge providing facilities of the highest quality to a maximum of 24 guests. The lodge is located on the banks of the mighty Kafue River in an area of abundant wildlife and boasts 180 degree views out across the water.

Day 5 - 7 - Busanga Plains

Today you will have a transfer to Busanga. The Busanga Plains, secreted away in the northern part of the Kafue National Park in Zambia, is one of the most untouched wilderness areas in Africa. Within its quietness, this wetland ecosystem bristles with diverse life that makes for a special safari experience. Your activities are game drives, walks, birding and bike trails.

Red lechwe leaping across shallow wetlands, lions hunting in golden grasses, and elephants emerging out of morning mist – this is the Busanga Plains experience.

Day 8 - 10 - Lower Zambezi

Today you will have a flight to Lower Zambezi and a transfer to Sausage Tree. Your activities are game drives, walks, canoeing, boat cruises.

The Lower Zambezi National Park gets it’s stunning scenery from the combination of 120km of Zambezi River front, the concentration of game in the valley floor and the backdrop of the magnificent Zambezi Escarpement, the Southern limit of the Great East African Rift Valley. The park is opposite Mana Pools National Park, a World Heritage Site across the Zambezi River in Zimbabwe.

National Park’s best game viewing area. The camp overlooks an expanse of narrow channels and low set reed islands teeming with game, with the magnificent Zambezi escarpment as the backdrop. Guaranteed private guiding, activities include day and night game drives, walking safaris, canoeing, boating and fishing.

3 nights at Sausage Tree Camp on a Fully Inclusive Basis

Day 11 - 13 - South Luangwa

Today you will have a flight to Lusaka then to Mfuwe where you will be met and will have a transfer to the camp. Your time will be spent on  guided game drives and walks, this area is known for incredible game viewing. As well as fantastic walking safaris and being the “home of the leopard”.

Shawa Luangwa Camp is based in South Luangwa, ideally located at the crossing of the magnificent South Luangwa National Park and the amazing Nsefu sector. It can be reached from Mfuwe Airport after a 60-minute drive. Set along the banks of the Luangwa River, this intimate camp offers an authentic bush experience, underpinned by responsible tourism practices. The centre boma is double- storey, lifting guests up to have a clear view over the river.

Day 14 - 17 - Last but not least... Lake Malawi

You will have a transfer to Mfuwe then a flight on to Likoma Island, there you will be met and transferred to the lodge. Here your included activities are snorkelling, paddling, sailing, canoeing, stand up paddle board, biking and walking.  You can also have a tour of the community textile workshop.

Also available for additional fees are cruises, wake boarding, water skiing quad bike, kite boarding. PADI courses available.
